What can I experience on the Jungfraujoch?

On the Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe , you will experience a fascinating alpine world . How do I get to the Jungfraujoch?

From Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen , you first take the Wengernalp Railway to the Kleine Scheidegg . There you change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes you over the Eiger Glacier to the Jungfraujoch. Alternatively, you can take the Eiger Express from Grindelwald Terminal , which quickly takes you to the Eiger Glacier station. There you change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes you further up to the Jungfraujoch. Tip : Make your journey more exciting and combine the routes – use the Wengernalp Railway for the outward journey and the Eiger Express for the return journey.

Are the trips offered all year?

Travel to the Jungfraujoch is possible all year . With its numerous attractions such as the Ice Palace, the "Sphinx" viewing platform, and the impressive glacier landscapes, it offers you an unforgettable experience regardless of the weather . In the summer months , you can also enjoy additional activities such as the Snow Fun Park or hiking.

Can I choose the travel times myself?

Yes, in principle you can choose your own travel times and are also flexible when traveling to and from your starting point and destination in Switzerland. You can check the connections in the SBB timetable . A seat reservation is mandatory for the journey to the Jungfraujoch for both routes (Grindelwald Terminal-Eigergletscher-Jungfraujoch and Kleine Scheidegg-Jungfraujoch) between May and October . The earlier you book, the greater the likelihood that your preferred times will be available. Outside these periods , a seat reservation is not mandatory, but recommended . Please note that seat reservation is not included in the package, so you can choose your preferred times independently. Reserve your seat directly online at Jungfrau.ch .
