From Lucerne, you glide past the Rütli meadow, Schillerstein, Tell's chapel and other historic sites of primeval Switzerland. From Flüelen, you follow the historic Gotthard route to Lugano, where the southern flair and "la Dolce Vita" await you. The trip can also be booked without an overnight stay in Lucerne.

Day 1
Travel by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lucerne. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights: the gateway to Central Switzerland, proximity to the Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn excursion mountains, Kappel Bridge, Lion Monument
Day 2
Lucerne - Lugano / approx. 5 h
Boat trip across Lake Lucerne to Flüelen. Travel on the Gotthard Panorama Express train to Lugano. Overnight stay in Lugano.
Highlights: Tell's chapel on the Tell plate, baroque church of Wassen, Giornico in the lower Leventina, castles of Bellinzona
Day 3
Return journey by public transport from Lugano to your final destination in Switzerland or extension of your stay.
