Over 800 glaciers feed the Inn, which begins at the Maloja Pass. The Via Engiadina follows the course of this river on picturesque mountain paths. For more than 100 years, nature has taken its course undisturbed in the most south-eastern corner of Switzerland, and so you follow the Via Engiadina through a mountain landscape that is second to none.
The varied route around the Swiss National Park leads across two Alpine passes and past Europe's highest mountain pine forest. In four one-day stages you experience the unique countryside on the National Park bike marathon route.
The Rhine-Route frames the east of Switzerland in a big bow. You start with a proper climb across the Oberalp pass, the region of the Rhines source, continue through the romanisch-speaking Surselva, and get impressive views of the wild rhine-valley Ruinaulta and visit the rätoromanian capital Chur. With the typical local wind at your side you ride through the “Bündner Herrschaft” (famous wine region) and on the Rhine dam quickly to the wide Lake of Constance, where orchards, castles and happy tourist chatter decorate the shore of the green and silver shimmering «Swabian Sea».
