What is the difference between 1st and 2nd class on this trip?

The Palm Express is a post bus journey without class division - all passengers enjoy the same level of comfort in the standard area. The 1st class supplement only applies to regular trains , not to the Palm Express journey. On regular trains, the seats in 1st class offer more legroom and a 2+1 seating arrangement, while 2nd class has a tighter 2+2 arrangement.

Can I choose my seat on the Palm Express in advance?

You can specify your seat preferences in the Palm Express during the booking process using the comments field . Depending on availability, seat preferences cannot always be fulfilled. We will try to assign you the best available seat and will inform you if a window seat is not available. The view is always impressive, regardless of where you sit.

Can I eat in the Palm Express?

There are no catering facilities on board the Palm Express. We recommend buying snacks and drinks before the journey . There is a short stopover in Chiavenna, where you have around 15-20 minutes to buy something, provided there are no delays.

Where does the Palm Express start and how do I get from the station to the hotel and vice versa?

The Palm Express runs between St. Moritz and Lugano . The itinerary can be started in both directions – the choice is yours. In the booking process , the distance to the respective train station is displayed when you choose a hotel. This allows you to choose nearby accommodation if required. How far in advance should I book?
