What is the difference between 1st and 2nd class on this trip?

There is only a distinction between 1st and 2nd class on regular trains on this journey. There are larger seats, more legroom and a 2+1 seating arrangement in 1st class. The seats in 2nd class are arranged more closely in a 2+2 seating arrangement.

Are the times for trains and excursions fixed?

Our trip offers you maximum flexibility . There are no fixed times for trains, PostBus journeys, boat trips, or mountain excursions – you can plan everything according to your wishes and simply check the timetables on the SBB website . The only exception is the private, guided city tour in Bern; we will inform you of the time. Otherwise, you can decide for yourself how long you want to spend at each stage.
