How far in advance can I send an enquiry?

Ideally, groups should plan and book their itinerary 12–18 months in advance to ensure sufficient capacity for the whole group. You can also contact us if your tour is planned at shorter notice – we’ll check the available options. Please note that some panoramic trains only confirm their availability a few months before the start of the tour.

How exactly can the sample trips be customised?

All of our itineraries can be tailored to your needs. You can either create an itinerary from scratch or customise an existing suggestion from our website. Customisations include: Start and end points: fully flexible but please note that changes may affect the final price. Extra nights before or after the trip: add overnights on arrival or before departure. Duration: extend or shorten the trip, as preferred. Activities: insert or remove activities, allow for more free time or add extra services. When staying in just one destination, day trips are flexible and can be reordered. Meals: let us know whether lunch or dinner should be included. Luggage transfers: we include luggage transportation for round-trips with multiple overnight destinations. You can opt out but we would recommend this for maximum convenience. Transport options: it is generally possible to switch between private coach travel and public transport. Please note that some destinations can only be reached by a specific mode of transport. Our travel experts would be happy to help you create the right itinerary for your group.

Can I request an itinerary but in the opposite direction?

Yes, itineraries can also be organised in the opposite direction. This can sometimes be advantageous for hotel and train availability and we sometimes recommend it for this reason, to ensure the best possible trip for your group.

From how many people can I book a group tour?

Our tailor-made group tours are generally available for groups of 10 people or more. Depending on the accommodation or your chosen itinerary, the minimum group size may vary. We are happy to review each request and create a suitable offer for you.
