Changes to the Board of Directors at Switzerland Travel Centre
Switzerland Travel Centre is strengthening its Board of Directors with two experienced figures from the fields of tourism, marketing and finance. Sandra Zenhäusern and Sandro Held have been newly elected to the Board of Directors, succeeding Piotr Caviezel and Simon Berger respectively.
Sandra Zenhäusern succeeds Piotr Caviezel
Sandra Zenhäusern brings with her many years of experience in the tourism and marketing sectors. Since June 2022, she has been Head of Marketing & Sales and a member of the Executive Board at Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn / BVZ Holding. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the VALAIS Matterhorn Region since April 2024. Previously, Sandra Zenhäusern held senior positions at Lonza, Zermatt Bergbahnen and Lötschental Tourismus, amongst others. She replaces Piotr Caviezel, who served on the Board of Directors of Switzerland Travel Centre for ten years.
Sandro Held succeeds Simon Berger
Sandro Held has extensive expertise in the fields of finance and controlling. Since April 2026, he has been Head of Division Controlling for the Passenger Transport Market and Deputy DFO for the Passenger Transport Market at SBB. Prior to this, he held various management positions within SBB and worked internationally for the INDITEX Group. He replaces Simon Berger, who served on the Board of Directors of Switzerland Travel Centre for four years.

The Board of Directors and the Executive Board of Switzerland Travel Centre would like to thank Piotr Caviezel and Simon Berger warmly for their great commitment and their valuable contribution to the further development of the company, and acknowledge their long-standing support.
