How flexible is the itinerary of the city trip?

Our city breaks offer you maximum flexibility in organising your day. The only exception is the guided city tour and the wine tasting , which take place at fixed times. You can find these times in your travel documents . Otherwise, you can plan your days as you like and discover the city at your own pace.

What is included with the Lausanne Transport Card?

The Lausanne Transport Card offers you free travel on public transport in Lausanne, including buses, trams and trains, within the city and the surrounding region . The card will be given to you when you check-in to a participating hotel . You also benefit from discounts on various tourist attractions, museums, sights and cultural activities in Lausanne and the surrounding area. This allows you to organise your stay, while both saving money and being flexible.

What events are taking place during my city break?

There are numerous events throughout the year in Switzerland, ranging from cultural events to festivals. A detailed overview of all current events during your city trip can be found on the Switzerland Tourism website . There you can filter by date, region and type of event .

How far in advance should I book?
