What is included with the Lucerne Guest Card and the Ticino Ticket?

The Lucerne Guest Card offers you free travel on public transport in Lucerne and the surrounding area as well as discounts on numerous sights, museums and tourist attractions . You will receive the card directly upon check-in at a participating hotel. The Ticino Ticket allows you to travel free of charge on public transport throughout Ticino , including trains, buses and boats. You also benefit from discounts on cable cars, boat trips and various tourist offers in the region. It will also be given to you upon check-in at a hotel or other accommodation in Ticino.

What events are taking place during my city break?

There are numerous events throughout the year in Switzerland, ranging from cultural events to festivals. A detailed overview of all current events during your city trip can be found on the Switzerland Tourism website . There you can filter by date, region and type of event .

What dining options are available on board the Gotthard Panorama Express?

The panorama train offers snacks and drinks , which are served directly at your seat, including regional specialities such as a cold platter. On the boat you can enjoy your lunch in the restaurant . A table reservation is recommended and can be made by telephone on +41 41 367 67 67 or online at Lakelucerne.ch .

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Demand is particularly high for the high season (see above). You can book your package online at the touch of a button or via our travel experts .
