Your itinerary
Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Davos Platz. Overnight stay in Davos.
Highlights: Schatzalp mountain located at 1,861m, winter walking trails all around
Day 2
Enjoy a 1-hour horse-drawn sleigh ride in one of the magical valleys nearby. Overnight stay in Davos.
Highlights: Art galleries, cafés, and shops, winter sports areas surrounding Davos, horse-drawn sleigh
Day 3
Davos - Montreux / approx. 8h
Travel by regional train from Davos to Filisur. Travel on the Glacier Express from Filisur to Brig. Continuation by regional train to Montreux. Overnight stay in Montreux.
Highlights: breath-taking views along the way
Day 4
Travel on the GoldenPass Line from Montreux to Gstaad. Return by regional train to Montreux. Overnight stay in Montreux.
Highlights: Stunning panoramas such as the Pays-d'Enhauts mountains, Lake Geneva and the terraced vineyards of Lavaux UNESCO, picture postcard winter sport resort Gstaad
Day 5
Switzerland’s capital is like stepping back in time, explore it’s cobbled streets and 15th century buildings. Overnight stay in Bern.
Highlights: Bern’s covered walkways and it’s cellar restaurants for an atmospheric dining experience
Day 6
Journey Neuchâtel and it’s nearby mystical valley of La Brévine where temperatures in winter have been known to drop to -40°C. Return and overnight stay in Bern.
Highlights: Winter walking trail (approx. 3km) which passes many typical farmhouses and the lake, Lac des Tailleres
Day 7
Discover the old town and it’s famous Chapel Bridge. The snow capped winter panorama of the surrounding mountains is a magical sight. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights: Chapel Bridge, Old Town
Day 8
Return trip by public transport from Lucerne to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.
Highlights: Shopping in the quirky shops located in the ‘Lauben’ the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in Europe
