Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lucerne. Overnight stay in Lucerne.

Day 2 & 3
Lucerne - Interlaken / approx. 1h 50min
Travel on the Luzern-Interlaken Express from Lucerne to Interlaken. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights: Three small lakes; Lungern, Sarnen and Alpnach, Brünig pass, the Giessbach falls and Brienz, Jungfraujoch
Day 4
Interlaken - Montreux / approx. 3h
Travel on the GoldenPass Express to Montreux. Overnight stay in Montreux.

Day 5
Montreux - Zermatt / approx. 2h 30
Rail journey to Zermatt. The car free resort offers unrivalled views of the mighty Matterhorn. Overnight stay in Zermatt.

Day 6
The best views of the Matterhorn are from the summit of the Gornergrat at 3,089m. The highest-altitude open-air cog railway in Europe operates.

Zermatt - St. Moritz / approx. 8h
Journey on the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz. This iconic journey is at its most dramatic in winter, as the narrow-gauge train climbs up the Rhône Valley and past snowy mountain peaks.
