Are the road trips offered all year round?

Some tours can be booked all year round , while others are only offered at certain times of year . In winter, some roads, especially the Alpine passes, may be closed due to snowfall. These routes are therefore often only accessible in the warmer summer months . You can find more detailed information on availability in the respective tour descriptions . Can I use my own vehicle for the road trips or is it possible to hire a car?

You can either use your own vehicle for the tours or hire a car . Both options give you the flexibility to organise your trip according to your personal preferences and needs. If you would like to book a rental car , you can simply select this in the booking process .

Do I have to pay motorway tolls in Switzerland?

Yes, in Switzerland you have to buy a vignette to use the motorways . This is required for all vehicles driving on the motorways. The vignette is valid for one year and can be purchased either as a sticker at various points of sale (such as petrol stations or border crossings) or online as an E-vignette . For certain tunnels or car trains there may be additional charges that are not covered by the vignette and must be paid separately. It is best to familiarise yourself in advance with the most important road traffic rules , such as speed limits, to avoid fines.
