Arrival in Zurich

Once you arrive in Zurich, you can use the included Zurich Card, which is valid for 24 hours, to explore the city’s cultural highlights.

Journey from Zurich to Lucerne
Itinerary
If you have booked a hire car, you will collect it in Zurich in the morning. You will then drive along the Grand Tour route towards Lucerne. On the way, you might want to stop off in Rapperswil, Einsiedeln or at Rigi. In the late afternoon, a guided tour of Lucerne awaits you.

On a day trip, you can easily reach the Bürgenstock by catamaran and funicular. From there, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Lake Lucerne. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Swiss dinner accompanied by a folklore show.

Journey from Lucerne to Bern

The journey takes you through the Emmental and offers the chance to stop off at various points along the way. In the afternoon, a local guide will take you on a guided tour of Bern, during which you will also visit the BärenPark.

This scenic route takes you through the Parc du Doubs, with photo stops along the way. Once you arrive in Basel, there will be time to visit a museum before a guide takes you on a tour of the old town in the late afternoon.

Return journey from Zurich
Itinerary
You’ll drive to the Rhine Falls and stop for a final photo opportunity. Afterwards, you can opt to drive via Winterthur back to Zurich, where you’ll return the car and begin your journey home.
