Media release | June 18, 2025 Switzerland Travel Centre launches the Digital Swiss Coupon Pass
With the Digital Swiss Coupon Pass, travellers can now discover Switzerland in an even smarter and more economical way: over 100 exclusive 2-for-1 offers for enjoyment, culture and adventure – now conveniently bundled in a practical, mobile web app.
The Swiss Coupon Pass voucher book has been a successful product of Switzerland Travel Centre for over ten years. It is particularly popular with travellers from Switzerland – as a faithful companion for holidays and weekend trips, as well as a source of inspiration for new experiences. Customers benefit from attractive 2-for-1 gastronomy, culture and tourism offers from selected providers.
Mobile, smart and flexible
For those who prefer to travel light, the popular Coupon Pass is now also available in a digital version. The Digital Swiss Coupon Pass can be purchased at switzerlandtravelcentre.com and activated in the web app with just a few clicks. The coupons can be activated directly in the app and redeemed at the provider within 15 minutes. “With the Digital Swiss Coupon Pass, we meet travellers exactly where they are planning their trip – digitally, on the go and with a focus on experiences”, says Anna-Lea Bögli, Project Manager at Switzerland Travel Centre, adding: “This turns every trip to Switzerland into a little adventure with great savings potential.”
The Digital Swiss Coupon Pass is particularly flexible and therefore ideal for international guests who are only in Switzerland for a short time or travelling to a specific region. It is available as a complete package for the whole of Switzerland or in four practical regional packages. These can also be supplemented with another regional package at any time while on the go – perfect for spontaneous changes of plan. The new product also works extremely well in cross-selling: the Digital Swiss Coupon Pass is the perfect addition to the Swiss tour operator's travel packages and rail products.
A strong solution for service providers and partners
“Our goal was to develop a product that creates real added value – for travellers and our tourism partners alike”, says Fabian Bryner, CCO at Switzerland Travel Centre. The offers are now processed and the coupon data managed centrally via the service provider portal in the web app. This ensures greater transparency: current usage data can be accessed at any time, enabling effective monitoring of each offer’s success.
As a purely online product, the Digital Swiss Coupon Pass also offers attractive advantages for B2B partners, as it can be passed on to end customers easily and without any logistical effort – there is no need for shipping, only an activation code is required.
Room for dynamic further development
The web app was developed in collaboration with the digital agency 89 Grad. The Digital Swiss Coupon Pass is a dynamic product that is constantly being developed with the aim of continuously improving the user experience and integrating new features. In future, it will also be possible to target travellers even more specifically and advertise seasonal offers.
