You can reach the Jungfraujoch from either Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen. The Eiger Express cable car takes you from the Grindelwald terminal to Eigergletscher station. There you change to the Jungfrau Cogwheel Railway, which takes you to the Jungfraujoch. The journey via Eigergletscher takes around 50 minutes.
The Wengernalp Cogwheel Railway takes you from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg. There you change to the Jungfrau Cogwheel Railway, which takes you to the Jungfraujoch. The journey via Kleine Scheidegg takes around 90 minutes. Combine the two options to discover even more of the breathtaking mountain world around the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

  • Return journey from Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen. Choose between the modern Eiger Express cable car or the classic cogwheel railway. A combination of the two options is possible.
  • The Jungfraujoch is open all year round and offers a unique experience whatever the weather.
  • Available as an eTicket with immediate booking confirmation.
  • With the Flex Cancellation Option, you benefit from flexible cancellation options if your plans change at short notice. Find out more in the cancellation conditions.
  • From May to August, a seat reservation is mandatory for the journey to the Jungfraujoch. Outside this period, seat reservations are not compulsory but are recommended. Reserve your seat directly online at Jungfrau.ch.
