We are committed to promoting responsible travel with you, as part of the Swisstainable sustainability programme.

train.svg Travelling by public transport
Travel in comfort by train, bus or boat. Switzerland has the densest public transport network in the world, making it convenient and easy to reach many destinations by public transport.
summer.svg Save energy and resources
Observe energy and water-saving measures in your accommodation: turn off lights and electronic devices when not in use and limit towel and bedding changes.
benefit_0.svg Support local products and businesses
Choose accommodation, restaurants and shops that use regional produce and are run by local businesses. This supports the local economy and minimises the environmental impact of transporting produce.
spring.svg Respect nature
Respect flora and fauna by disposing of rubbish properly, staying on marked hiking trails and protecting sensitive ecosystems such as lakes and forests. Take nothing but photos and memories and leave only footprints.
hiking.svg Hiking and cycling
Explore Switzerland more actively by hiking or cycling your way around. There are numerous well-marked hiking and cycling trails to guide you through the breathtaking landscape
restaurant.svg Reduce plastic consumption
Avoid buying single-use plastic products. Carry a reusable drinks bottle made from glass or stainless steel instead and take a reusable shopping bag with you to avoid plastic bags.
