The GoldenPass Express runs on the direct route between Interlaken and Montreux or vice versa. The journey takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes . The GoldenPass Panoramic and the GoldenPass Belle Époque connect Zweisimmen with Montreux or vice versa. The journey takes around 2 hours . The journey between Zweisimmen and Interlaken is by regional train with one change in Spiez and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes .

Do the GoldenPass Panoramic trains run all year round?

Yes, the GoldenPass Express , the GoldenPass Panoramic and the GoldenPass Belle Époque operate all year round . In the GoldenPass Express you have the choice between three travel classes: Prestige class , 1st class and 2nd class . The main difference between the classes lies in the seating and comfort. Prestige Class offers a more exclusive experience with heated leather seats in groups of two and four , a raised seat position of 40 cm for a better view and guaranteed seat in the direction of travel . The seating is arranged in tables of two and four in 1st class and only tables of four in 2nd class. All travel classes have the same panoramic windows . In the GoldenPass Panoramic and the GoldenPass Belle Époque , you can choose between 1st and 2nd class .
