Your itinerary
Item 1 of 3
Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lugano. Overnight in Lugano.
Highlights: The lakeside, Centro Storico, Parco Civico, Cattedrale San Lorenzo
Day 2
In the morning enjoy a tranquil boat trip across Lake Lugano to the small fishing village of Grandria before meeting your private guide in the late afternoon in Lugano for a private guided city tour of the historic centre, a tasting of three different wines and local appetizers before finishing the day with a small present from Ticino. Overnight in Lugano.
Highlights: Lake Cruise to Gandria, Piadine, Via Nassa, Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli
Day 3
Travel by train to Capolago – Riva S. Vitale, from where you take the Monte Generoso cog railway which is about 9 km long and runs along a magical stretch of mountain scenery. Overnight in Lugano.

Day 4
Last chance to wander the beautiful lakeside of Lugano or to buy some souvenir presents at Via Nassa or Via Pessina .Return trip by public transport from Lugano to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.
Highlights: Lugano City Centre, or explore one of the many fabulous museums, such as the Hesse Museum
