Day 1
Arrival and overnight stay in Basel.
Highlights: oldest university town, Jean Tinguely Museum, Rhine navigation, Fondation Beyeler, cultural city Basel, Zoo Basel, Augusta Raurica
Day 2
Basel - Neuchâtel / approx. 121km
Journey from Basel through the Doubs Nature Park to Neuchâtel. Overnight stay in Neuchâtel.
Highlights: Trip to La Chaux-de Fonds - cradle of the Swiss watch industry, birthplace of Le Corbusier, Neuchâtel Castle, Lake Biel
Day 3
Neuchâtel - Gstaad / approx. 111km
Via Freiburg through the region of La Gruyères to Gstaad. Overnight stay in Gstaad.
Highlights: Freiburg with its medieval charm, La Maison du Gruyère show dairy, Gstaad chalet village, the idyllic Lauenensee mountain lake.
Day 4
Gstaad - Lucerne / approx. 315km
Drive from Gstaad via Interlaken to Lucerne. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights: Interlaken with views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, excursion to Bern, excursion to the Brienzer Rothorn, chapel bridge in Lucerne, excursions to Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn.
Day 5
Lucerne - Zurich / approx. 140km
Journey from Lucerne past Lake Zug to Zurich. Overnight stay in Zurich.

Day 6
Return journey to Zurich.
