Tour characteristics
A route for connoisseurs. Perfectly signposted cycle routes guide you through the most beautiful scenery in Central Switzerland. The route is almost entirely asphalted and often leads along quiet side roads or dedicated cycle paths. Some fitness is required for the hilly ride over the Hirzel and for crossing the Iberegg Pass, which is why the tour is more suitable for sporty families with children aged 10 and over. Expect some traffic in the city centres of Zurich and Lucerne. Not suitable as a first bike tour for children and with a child trailer.
