Lucerne - Interlaken - Bern

Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lucerne. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights: The gateway to Central Switzerland, Lucerne's Old Town and the Chapel Bridge
Day 2
Excursion to Mount Rigi / approx. 1.5h per way
Enjoy a round trip to the top of Mount Rigi by boat and cogwheel train, and marvel at the wonderful views of Lake Lucerne from the summit. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights: Mountain Excursion to Mount Rigi, boat trip on Lake Lucerne.
Day 3
Lucerne - Interlaken / approx. 2h
Journey with the Lucerne-Interlaken Express over the Brünig Pass to the Bernese Oberland and on to Interlaken. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights: Brienzersee, Interlaken Christmas Market (in season).
Day 4
Interlaken - Jungfraujoch / approx. 2h per way
With the Jungfraubahn to the highest railway station in Europe at 3454m altitude. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights: Jungfraujoch, view of the mountain giants Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, view of the 22km long Aletsch glacier.
Day 5
Interlaken - Bern / approx. 1h
Travel by regional train along the shores of Lake Thun to Bern. Overnight stay in Bern.
Highlights: Thunersee
Day 6
Day at leisure in Bern to explore the city or visit the Christmas Markets (in season). Overnight stay in Bern.
Highlights: Zytglogge, Christmas Markets, Old Town
Day 7
Return trip by public transport from Bern to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.
