Road trip to Switzerland
The Grand Tour of Switzerland takes you on around 1,600 kilometres through the most beautiful parts of Switzerland and shows you how varied, diverse, and spectacular our country is. The journey is the destination. You will drive in your own car or with a rental car through four language regions, over five Alpine passes, along 22 lakes, and thirteen UNESCO World Heritage sites and biospheres. There are also many highlights and 46 top attractions to consider along the route.
The Grand Tour of Switzerland is now electrified - the world's first road trip for electric vehicles. Charging is made easy, with many hotels providing charging, and an even larger network of stations over the entire route, which guarantees a comfortable and clean driving experience.

The most beautiful alpine passes
The old trade routes pass through medieval villages and lead past magnificent glacier landscapes. Pass heights of over 2400 m are not uncommon on this Grand Tour of Switzerland, which leads from the east to the west all the way to palm-fringed Lake Geneva - "an Alpine crossing par excellence".
