Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to St. Gallen, a city nestled in northeastern Switzerland. Stroll through the charming Old Town with its historic buildings and vibrant market squares, or explore the Abbey of St. Gallen, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight stay in St. Gallen.

St. Gallen - Lucerne / approx. 2h 15min

Day 4
Lucerne - Locarno / approx. 3h
A highlight of your journey avaits you today as you board the Treno Gottardo in 1st class to Locarno, where you'll travel through breathtaking alpine landscapes. Once there, explore Locarno's picturesque lakeside promenade or visit the historic Castello Visconteo, soaking in a touch of Italian flair even during the winter months. Overnight stay in Locarno.

Day 5
Locarno - Montreux / approx. 4h
The next scenical train adventure begins with a journey from Locarno on the Centovalli Express through the beautiful Centovalli and on to Domodossola in Italy. From Domodossola, continue via the Simplon Tunnel to Brig and then proceed to Montreux in the French speaking region of Switzerland. Overnight stay in Montreux.

Day 8
Interlaken - Jungfraujoch - Interlaken
As the last highlight of your tour, embark on a day trip to Jungfraujoch from Interlaken.
