Highlights await you on your 8-day "Alpine Cruise" rail journey, such as the trip on the Bernina Express from St. Moritz to Poschiavo or an excursion to the Diavolezza.
Your journey takes you to:
Switzerland's oldest town enchants with its winding alleys and historic buildings in the midst of an impressive mountain world. With the local mountain Brambrüesch, the town has its own winter and summer sports area with views of the surrounding mountains and into the Chur Rhine Valley.
By train from Chur through the Rhine Gorge, Switzerland's Grand Canyon, to Disentis. Founded in the 8th century, Disentis Monastery is today the spiritual and educational centre of the upper Vorderrheintal. Included is the journey by train from Chur to Disentis and back.
Take the Arosa line from Chur to Arosa. Pay a visit to the bears in Arosa Bärenland or take a hike, for example on the Eichörnliweg. The train journey from Chur to Arosa and back is included. Please note the seasonal and opening times.
St. Moritz was the birthplace of Alpine winter holidays in 1864, but it also has plenty to offer its guests in summer. In addition to traditional hiking and mountain biking, you can practice sailing, rowing, windsurfing, kiteboarding or horseback riding. Guests from all over the world appreciate the modern alpine lifestyle characterised by top gastronomy and hotels, events and shopping.
Hunters once carelessly followed the beautiful, red-haired mountain fairy and disappeared forever - it is said that the mountain got its name "Diavolezza" from this she-devil. In summer, the Diavolezza awaits with a wide range of activities: a beautiful panoramic terrace with a view of the "ballroom of the Alps", a mountain house, the VR Diavolezza - the highest virtual reality experience in the world and, of course, numerous hiking trails and via ferratas.
This day trip takes you down to the valley town of Poschiavo. The journey with the Bernina Express is considered the most spectacular Alpine crossing and connects language regions and cultures in serpentine lines. Included is the journey with the Bernina Express from St. Moritz to Poschiavo and back by regional train.
At 1560m, Davos is the highest town in the Alps and a high-altitude health resort with a long tradition. Furthermore, the town is famous for the variety of sports, leisure and cultural activities on offer. Discover the many hiking trails across three areas or the diverse shopping opportunities.
Enjoy a somewhat different train ride from Davos to Filisur. In just under 40 minutes, the journey takes you through the wildly romantic Zügen Gorge, over the famous Wiesner Viaduct to Filisur. This is also the home of the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct. This is the centrepiece of the RhB's famous Albula line and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The nostalgia train runs daily from 17.05.2025.
Amidst the picturesque backdrop of the Grisons mountains, the Landquart Fashion Outlet awaits you with 160 international brands.
