Day 1
Arrival by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lucerne. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights / tips: the gate to Central Switzerland, close to the excursion mountains Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, Chappel bridge, lion monument
Day 2
Day excursion to the Mount Titlis. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Highlights / tips: train to Engelberg, 3 gondolas, TITLIS ROTAIR up to 3,048m
Day 3
Travel on the GoldenPass Line from Luerne to Interlaken. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights / tips: Brünig Pass, Brienz, Rothorn Railway
Day 4
Excursion to the Jungfraujoch. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights / tips: Lauterbrunnen and Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the famous Eiger, breathtaking views of the Aletsch glacier, the longest in the Alps
Day 5
Excursion by cogwheel train to the Schynige Platte. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Highlights / tips: views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, unique Alpine Garden with 500 different flowering plants (mid June-September)
Day 6
Rail journey to Zermatt. Overnight stay in Zermatt.
Highlights / Tips: spectular train journey via Spiez and Visp, car-free alpine resort of Zermatt
Day 7
Excursion with the cogwheel train to Mount Gornergrat. Overnight stay in Zermatt.
Highlights / Tips: altitude of 3,089m above sea level, excellent vantage points for some 29 four-thousand-metre peaks, impressive glaciers of the Monte Rosa massif
Day 8
Return trip by public transport from Zermatt to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.
