Your travel itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Brunnen | Rütli – Seelisberg
Individual arrival in Brunnen. After dropping off the luggage, a short but sweaty stage follows. The starting point and destination are interesting, as are the thought-provoking stones in between that turn the steep ascent into a path of meditation.
Details: approx. 3 km ↑ 375 m ↓ 15 m
Duration: approx. 1.5 h
Day 2
Seelisberg – Altdorf
This stage follows the "Weg der Schweiz", which leads from the Rütli via Flüelen to Brunnen. Interesting stately homes between Seelisberg and Bauen as well as near Seedorf and in some places the Lake of Uri can be admired in all its splendour.
Details: approx. 15 km ↑ 415 m ↓ 815 m
Duration: approx. 5 h
Day 3
Altdorf – Brunnen | Departure
Between Flüelen and Sisikon, the hike leads along a riverside path like on the Riviera, past the Tell's chapel and the Tellsplatte. The ascent from Sisikon is rough, but the view from the top is extensive. Return trip by public transport to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.
Details: approx. 3 km ↑ 375 m ↓ 15 m
Duration: approx. 1.5 h
Tour characteristic
Along the shores of Lake Lucerne, the route goes uphill, sometimes steeply. Good basic condition is necessary for the climbs and for some long stages.
