Discover the Emmental in all its glory. Starting from the main town of the Emmental, you will hike into the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch. You will spend idyllic nights in Schangnau and Sörenberg and reach the lakes of central Switzerland. This is a great place to spend some time, and the hermit Niklaus von Flüe spent the last twenty years of his life in this region. Historically, the route continues to Stans with the oldest settlement in Nidwalden and a detour to the Rütli meadow. On the shores of the Lake of Uri, a picturesque rocky path leads you to the Reuss plain.
