Day 1

Arrival in Lucerne | Lucerne - Vitznau

Travel by public transport from your starting point in Switzerland to Lucerne. Pick up your e-bikes. Stow everything you need for the tour in the two waterproof saddle bags per bike, larger luggage remains at the Hotel Wilden Mann.
The bike tour begins with a ride through the Meggerwald forest to Küssnacht. Enjoy the views of Lake Lucerne, Rigi and the Nidwalden Alps. The following section to Vitznau is also known as the Riviera of Central Switzerland. Overnight at the Swiss Historic Hotel Terrasse am See in Vitznau.

Day 2

Vitznau - Amsteg

The route first leads along the cantonal road to Brunnen, partly high above the lake. From Brunnen you cycle along the famous Axenstrasse to Flüelen. This runs sometimes through tunnels, sometimes on the old road with magnificent views of the Lake of Uri. The Bristen towers like a pyramid above your destination for the day. Overnight stay at the Swiss Historic Hotel Stern & Post in Amsteg.

Day 3

Amsteg - Flüeli Ranft

You will then rapidly descend back to Lake Lucerne to the Reuss delta in the nature reserve. In Bauen you change with your e-bikes onto the boat to Beckenried, past the legendary Rütli meadow. The cycle path continues through meadows to Stans and finally through the idyllic Kernwald forest to Flüeli-Ranft. Overnight stay at the Swiss Historic Hotel Paxmontana in Flüeli-Ranft.

Day 4

Flüeli Ranft - Lucerne

In the morning you cycle down into the valley to Lake Sarnen and past Lake Wichel to Alpnachstad. Here you have the opportunity to take the world's steepest cogwheel railway up Mount Pilatus. The last stage offers a visit to the interesting glassworks in Hergiswil as well as some beautiful bathing spots. Back in Lucerne, the rental e-bikes are returned. Overnight stay at the Swiss Historic Hotel Wilden Mann in Lucerne.

Day 5

Use the time before your journey home to discover the landmarks of Lucerne and the picturesque old town. Return by public transport to your final destination in Switzerland or extend your stay.

Good to know

  • In order for us to allocate you the correct frame size of the e-bike, we need your body size. Please enter this in the comments field in the last booking step.
  • Two saddle bags per person are included in the e-bike rental and offer space for the necessary luggage during the tour.   
  • Bike helmets are not compulsory in Switzerland, but can be added on request
