Day 1

We will be meeting in the afternoon to introduce the group and share insights about the trip. We will give you the bikepacking bags and help you re-pack for the trip since your suitcase will stay behind at the hotel. Soon after we will test out our e-mountain bikes to make sure everyone feels comfortable on them. After a dinner together at the hotel, you are free to hang around, go for a walk along Lac Léman, or just head off to bed early to make sure you are rested of the first cycling day!

Day 2

Montreux - Col de Bretaye (44km | ↑1510m ↓80m)

First day of riding. It’s an easy going day today, so we’ll take our time in the morning to enjoy breakfast and get the hang of our bikes before heading off to climb up to Col de Bretaye. The ride starts flat on a very enjoyable bike lane along Lac Léman and the Rhône river. We’ll do a quick stop by the vineyards in the area as well as the emblematic Château de Chillon and Château d’Aigle. Today we will also take an exciting single-track path through a forest to work on our balance skills! Once up there, it’s time to relax and enjoy our sophisticated refuge. After a meal together, we’ll head off to one of the nearby hills to enjoy a panoramic sunset view.

Today we tackle some short and cool single tracks as well as enjoyable gravel paths and will enjoy a picnic on the way. After a short climb to Leysin we get to our lovely hotel and have the afternoon for ourselves to perhaps go for a walk or enjoy the hotel’s jacuzzi and views from the terrace. After freshening up and a plentiful meal together, we’ll do a quick ride to Prafandaz—a lovely viewpoint from where we will be able to enjoy a lovely sunset over the panoramic views of Lac Léman.

We will stop for a picnic lunch at Lac L’Hongrin and from there, we will follow valley on a lovely gravel path down to Alliéres.
