Cycling Tour in the Parc Jura vaudois
3 days / 2 nights
The cycling tour starts in Nyon and takes you through the Jura vaudois Nature Park. Small, traditional villages enchant you, as well as the idyllic drive through the quiet Vallée de Joux. A tough section is rewarded with views of the Mont Blanc before heading back to Nyon.

Your itinerary
Nyon - Montricher - Le Pont - Nyon
Day 1
Nyon - Montricher
Luggage drop-off in Nyon. At the beginning, the route is slightly ascending until you reach the villages of the southern foothills of the Jura and the Jura vaudois Nature Park. On your way, pay a short visit to the La Garenne animal park or the giant lime tree of Marchissy before today's stage takes you to the small town of Montricher.

Day 2
Montricher - Le Pont
One small village after another awaits you today before you reach the charming village of Romainmotier after a short descent. Take some time to visit the impressive church with its well-preserved abbey before you roll into the peaceful Vallée de Joux. The night will be spent in the small village of Le Pont on the shores of the lake.

Day 3
Le Pont - Nyon
Along the lake shore and through the valley of the watchmakers' art at Lac de Joux. Take a short break in Le Sentier before heading up to Switzerland's coldest valley, the Combe des Amburnex. After this cool detour, the historic pass road up to the Col du Marchairuz will cost you a drop of sweat or two. Afterwards, the view of Lake Geneva and the nearby Alps compensates for all the effort. A thrilling descent to Nyon ends your journey. After arrival in Nyon, you can depart individually.

Tour characteristics
The tour leads you in constant ascents and descents along the southern flank of the Jura. Occasionally there are steep climbs that require a good basic level of fitness. The route takes you on quiet back roads through the Jura vaudois Nature Park.
