How far in advance can seat reservations be booked?
Seat reservations and globally-priced tickets can be issued up to 3 months in advance.
How far in advance can class upgrades be booked?
Class upgrades and point to point tickets can be issued up to 2 months in advance. You can however, make a booking before this date and this is advisable, particularly if your request involves a panoramic rail journey.
Is a seat reservation compulsory?
Seat reservations are compulsory on all panoramic routes except the Lucern-Interlaken Express, the Centovalli Railway and the Voralpen Express.
Are dogs allowed on panoramic trains?
Dogs are allowed on all panoramic services except for the Glacier Express (Guide Dogs only allowed).
When will I receive my travel documents?
Travel documents will be sent 2-3 weeks at the latest before your date of departure.

Are reductions offered on Swiss Panoramic Trains?
- Children aged 5 and under travel free of charge. If you would prefer them to have their own seat on trains, then they must have a child’s ticket (50%) or a Junior-Card where applicable.
- The BüGA is valid on all Bernina Express routes.
- The GraubündenPass is not valid on the Bernina Express Bus.
Important: Please note that there are no reductions on seat reservations or supplements.
