What are the differences between 1st and 2nd class and Prestige class on the GoldenPass Express?

The main difference between the classes lies in the seating and comfort . The seating is arranged in tables of two and four in 1st class and only tables of four in 2nd class. All travel classes have the same panoramic windows. Prestige Class offers a more exclusive experience with heated leather seats in groups of two and four , a raised seat position of 40 cm for a better view and guaranteed seat in the direction of travel.

Can I choose my seat on the GoldenPass Express in advance?

In the GoldenPass Express, you can specify your seat preferences during the booking process using the comments field . Depending on availability, it is not guaranteed that your seat preferences will always be fulfilled. We will endeavour to allocate you the best available seat and inform you if no window seat is available. The view is always impressive, regardless of your seat.

What dining options are available on board the GoldenPass Express?

On board the GoldenPass Express, you can choose from various regional aperitif platters , which are combined with mineral water, wine or beer. Simply pre-order your aperitif platter at the time of the booking and the food and drinks will be served directly at your seat .

Where do the panoramic routes start and how do I get from the railway station to the hotel and back?

The GoldenPass Express runs between Interlaken Ost/West and Montreux . In the booking process , the distance to the respective train station is displayed when you choose a hotel. This allows you to choose accommodation nearby as required. Some hotels offer practical transfer services . For details about the transfer, please contact your hotel .
