Travel by public transport with your group to Geneva, where your journey will continue to Montreux. There, you’ll enjoy a tasting of exquisite Grand Cru wines in the Lavaux vineyards. Afterwards, you’ll visit the historic Château de Chillon.

Today you’ll travel by train to the picturesque little town of Gruyères. On a guided tour of the "Maison Gruyère" show dairy, you’ll sample the famous Swiss cheese and learn more about its traditional production methods.

From Montreux, travel via Domodossola in Italy on to Ticino. On the scenic journey aboard the Centovalli Railway, you can enjoy stunning views before reaching Lugano. On a guided tour, you’ll get to know this Mediterranean-style town on Lake Lugano.

After a short boat trip across Lake Lugano, you’ll take part in a workshop to learn how to make authentic Ticino risotto. You’ll then enjoy the speciality you’ve prepared yourself with your group over a glass of wine. Afterwards, you’ll travel on by train to Lucerne.

On a guided tour, you can gain an insight into the history of Lucerne and the vibrant everyday life of this popular holiday destination. Afterwards, you’ll travel on with your group to Affoltern in the Emmental. At the Emmental show dairy, you’ll experience first-hand how the famous cheese is made during an interactive tour – including a tasting. In the evening, you’ll travel on with your group to Bern.

In the morning, explore Bern on a guided tour of the historic old town. The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish. Visit the famous landmarks and the numerous souvenir shops, or enjoy a beer in one of the city’s more than 200 breweries.

The tour is drawing to a close. From Bern, you and your group will begin your return journey or onward journey by public transport.
